Martin Luther was not a humanist in the traditional sense of the term. While he shared some humanist ideals, such as the emphasis on individual interpretation of scripture and the rejection of certain aspects of medieval scholasticism, he also had significant differences with humanist thinkers of his time. Luther's primary focus was on religious reform and the authority of scripture, rather than the broader focus on classical learning and secular humanism that characterized the humanist movement. Therefore, while Luther may have been influenced by some humanist ideas, he cannot be considered a humanist in the same way as figures like Erasmus or Thomas More. **

Nicolaus Copernicus is considered a humanist because he was a Renaissance-era scholar who embraced humanist ideals such as the pursuit of knowledge, critical thinking, and the importance of individual achievement. Copernicus's revolutionary heliocentric theory, which placed the sun at the center of the universe, challenged the traditional geocentric view and reflected his commitment to empirical observation and scientific inquiry. Additionally, Copernicus's work was influenced by the humanist emphasis on the value of human potential and the belief in the power of reason to understand the natural world. Overall, Copernicus's intellectual pursuits and his commitment to advancing human knowledge align him with the humanist movement of the Renaissance. **

Erasmus of Rotterdam was a humanist because he believed in the power of education and the importance of studying classical texts to improve society. He promoted the idea of using reason and critical thinking to challenge traditional beliefs and practices. In contrast, the Christian-humanist view of humanity emphasizes the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, regardless of race or background. It is based on the belief in the inherent goodness of humanity and the importance of compassion, empathy, and love for all people. Hitler's view was one of hatred and division, while the Christian-humanist view is one of love and unity. **

The amount of insulation required for a facade renovation depends on various factors such as the climate, building codes, and the existing condition of the building. In general, the insulation should be sufficient to meet the energy efficiency requirements of the building and to improve its thermal performance. It is important to consult with a professional architect or engineer to determine the specific insulation needs for a facade renovation project. **

The roofing underlayment serves as a secondary layer of protection against water infiltration and helps to prevent leaks in the roof. It also provides an additional barrier against wind-driven rain and snow. In terms of insulation, the underlayment can help to improve the overall energy efficiency of the roof by reducing heat loss and preventing drafts. Additionally, it can provide a smooth surface for the installation of the final roofing material, such as shingles or tiles. **

When renovating a roof for thermal insulation, it is recommended to consider adding insulation materials such as fiberglass, cellulose, or foam board. These materials can help reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency. Additionally, sealing any gaps or cracks in the roof structure can prevent air leakage and further improve insulation. Lastly, installing a reflective roof coating can help reduce heat absorption and keep the interior of the building cooler. **
